In 1999, Brazil Central invited a group of producers to create a credit union. At the time, thirty cooperators united as the purpose of meeting the financial needs of the northern region of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul.

Thus, Sicredi was born, which now has 16,218 associates. With headquarters in São Gabriel do Oeste, the cooperative also has ten units of service in other municipalities. The Barn Sicredi Midwest became a cooperative of free admission and currently serves associates all segments.

The Sincredi Celeiro is at ten different municipals from Mato Grosso do Sul, they are, São Gabriel do Oeste, Sonora, Chapadão do Sul, Cassilândia, Costa Rica, Paraíso das Águas, Paranaíba e Aparecida do Taboado, and in Goiás state there is a company in Chapadão do Céu.
