Travel through Brazilian cooperativism

About

In the state of Espírito Santo in the southeast, credit gained momentum with the arrival of the Sicoob system - The Credit Union System of Brazil.

Sicoob is the largest cooperative credit system in the country and has been present in Espírito Santo since 1989 where it has 86 branches distributed throughout the region.

Since 2006, the system has recorded high growth in the state. This year, institutions which previously only worked with rural credit cooperatives were transformed into open admission.

The Sicoob Center built a solid foundation and its initial experience in the interior cities  was essential to also consolidate growth in the Metropolitan Region.

Today, it has branches in the capital, Victoria, and Cariacica and is preparing to open new service points with the goal to have branches in all cities of the state so it can always generate more adequate and sustainable financial solutions to members and their communities.
