In the municipality of Castro, 156 kilometers from the state capital, Curitiba, is the Dutch colony Castrolanda.

 

Here, is located one of the largest agri-industrial cooperatives in the country, the Castrolanda Agricultural Cooperative. Founded in 1950, the Cooperative is known for its performance and the use of modern technology in the production of milk, pork, beans and other crops.

 

With quality standards demanded by the Brazilian and international markets, the products have their own brand. Castrolanda works with partners that contribute to the development of the production line and to increase representation in the market. Formed by 754 members, its gross revenue in 2012 totaled R $ 1, 540,000,000.
